Courteney Cox, who played Monica Geller for 10 years in the comedy series Friends, has said she is reconciled to looking older and regrets some procedures she had in the past to keep the wrinkles at bay.
曾在一播10年的美國喜劇《六人行》中飾演莫妮卡．蓋勒一角的克特妮．考克斯表示，她現在安於容貌老化的事實，同時也對以前為了阻止皺紋生成而採取的手段感到後悔。
Cox, 52, who spoke some years ago about using Botox and laser treatments to prolong her youthful looks, said she was now more relaxed.
現年52歲的考克斯，幾年前曾說自己會注射肉毒桿菌，並接受雷射治療，以維持年輕容貌，但她現在表示，不再那麼嚴格了。
"Sometimes you look at a picture of yourself and go, ’Oh, God. I look horrible.’ In that case, I have done things that I regret because it’s not my best look. So, now I have a new motto： Just let it be," she said.
她說：「有時候看到照片中的自己，心裡會想『天啊，好醜。』基於這個想法，我做了一些現在覺得後悔的事，因為那樣的容貌並非我最美的一面。所以，現在我有了新的座右銘：自然最美。」
Cox is not the only star to speak out about the pressure women feel in Hollywood to maintain their looks. Jennifer Aniston, 47, who plays Rachel in the long-running sitcom, once wrote that she was sick of the sport-like scrutiny and body shaming that occurs daily in celebrity and other media.
對於好萊塢女星為了維持容貌所承受的壓力，考克斯並非第一個發表意見的明星。在《六人行》這部長壽劇中飾演瑞秋、現年47歲的珍妮佛．安妮斯頓就曾寫道，她對於名人及其他媒體每天比照運動員標準嚴格檢視體態的現象，感到十分厭惡。
